Original black cloth, lettered in white on spine and upper cover; with a folding map of London in a pocket inside the front cover, and numerous illustrations by Cecil Aldin, 11 of which are coloured and mounted, also with several road maps reproduced from Cary's Survey of the High Roads; some internal foxing, otherwise a very good copy, long ink inscription on front endpaper.
First edition. A handsome illustrated volume on the coaching landmarks on the Bath and Portsmouth roads.
